Karen Mulder

After coming second in the 1985 Elite Look of the Year contest Karen Mulder's star rised very quickly and she made lots of advertisings like Calvin Klein, Céline, Guess Jeans, Nivea, Ralph Lauren, Saks Fifth Avenue and Victoria's Secret and could be admired at multiple fashion shows for Hervé Leger, Nicole Miller, Ralph Lauren, Vivienne Westwood, Christian Lacroix, Yves Saint Laurent, Christian Dior and John Galliano.

Karen appeared in the Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition, 1997-1998. Along with Claudia Schiffer and Naomi Campbell, Karen has a toy doll of herself. They were actually the idea of her fiancé Jean Yves and are being marketed by Hasbro. She has also released a CD-ROM on beauty tips.

Karen has now retired from modelling. She was married to Rene Bosne. After her divorcion her new fiancé is Jean Yves le Fur). In her spare time she likes reading and taking. Apart from that she is currently taking singing lessons (well, let's see want the results will be ...). Karen is best friends with model Carla Bruni and has a sister Saskia who is also represented by Elite and attends the Actor's Studio in New York.
